28 Making Music
Similar to 27 Crafting. Affinity of interest around making music together. Based on principles of accompaniment and safe sharing. May have 33 Performance as its goal, in which case shared struggle is also a driver.

A shared physical activity that invokes the principles of accompaniment and repetition. Often lo-fi and making use of existing community assets (such as a park or community hub). Often aim to be welcoming and inclusive, with lower barriers to entry and fuzzy membership lines, but can also be more exclusive, competitive or achievement-focused. As repetitive activities, may include rituals and shared symbols (clothing). Unlike 30 Team Sports, the emphasis is on individual participation rather than group competition.

32 Walking
A rich, almost timeless pattern that includes the concept of pilgrimage. The key is the combination of a communal goal, repetition, accompaniment and engagement with a changing landscape. The pattern of walking together with different people as part of a larger group is also lightly conducive. It can also support affinity (e.g. shared beliefs or identity), and combines with other patterns e.g. 34 Story Sharing (the Canterbury Tales), or 26 Collective Cultural Experience (a guided tour).

Focus is on developing or co-creating a performance over time, that will be shared with an audience. The dynamic is therefore us<>audience, rather than the peer-to-peer storytelling pattern of 34 Story Sharing. This pattern can also be the mirror of 26 Collective Cultural Experience, where 33 is the performers' experience, and 26 is the audience's. Relevant design principles are shared struggle, accompaniment and repetition.
34 Story Sharing
Encourages trust and reciprocity via the telling of stories between peers. The drivers may be both the content of stories (and what they disclose about the teller) and the act of sharing. As such, the key design principles are contribute as equals, individual identities, safe sharing and magic circle.
